About the event
Shangri La Duathlon Challenge is the name of a new international mass participation sports event in Shangri La, Yunnan Province to highlight the attractions of Zhongdian and benefit the local tourism industry. The focus will not necessarily be on the individual achievement, but on team play and team work. A duathlon consists of running, cycling and running again. The race will be held over one single distance, and in two categories: individual and team relay, whereby a team consists of 2 runners and 1 biker. Total race distance is 10-35-5 km.
Technical organisation is done by Nordic Ways.
